This November is Your Students’ Union Health and Wellness Month. During Health and Wellness Month, Laurier students can expect over 50 events and campaigns from Your Students’ Union and many Laurier campus partners to support their overall health and wellness as we enter the final stretch of the semester. All events are exclusively open to Laurier students unless otherwise stated.
Laurier students remain consistently busy with academics and co-curricular activities. Health and Wellness Month aims to support students' physical, emotional, social, sexual, and financial wellness as they all pertain to our overall self-growth and mental health. Our month-long campaign works to be proactive in the student lifecycle to best prepare students to manage their social, academic, and personal lives during increasingly stressful times.
Our month-long campaign works to be proactive in the student lifecycle to best prepare students to manage their social, academic, and personal lives during increasingly stressful times and we encourage students to bookmark our Wellness Resource List for use beyond November. For the most accurate event information, students are advised to refer to our event calendar - click on each event for full details. Be sure to follow along on Instagram at @yourstudentsunion, @campuslifebrantford, and @campuslifewaterloo throughout the month!

Came across a recommendation thread while browsing a Canadian gaming community earlier this evening. What caught my attention was the relaxed tone people used when talking about how they choose an online casino. Instead of focusing on bonuses or jackpots, most comments were about usability — how easy it is to find games, whether the platform feels stable during longer sessions, and how transparent the rules are. Someone briefly mentioned Pickering Casino while explaining which sites they had tried that didn’t feel overly complicated. The comment wasn’t pushing anything; it was just part of a broader list of experiences. That kind of discussion feels more trustworthy because it sounds like real players exchanging observations rather than repeating marketing claims.
