Purpose

Orientation at Laurier is your official welcome to campus life! It's a chance to meet new friends, explore campus, learn about the resources and supports available to you, and start building your Laurier community before classes begin. 

Why?

Orientation is designed to welcome students, build community, and equip them with the connections, resources, and confidence they need to thrive at Laurier from their very first day.

What we do

  • Welcome new students to campus

  • Plans and runs Orientation events and activities

  • Recruits and trains student volunteers

  • Connects students with resources and services

  • Encourages involvement in campus life

  • Builds community and school spirit

  • Supports student success from day one
