EcoHawks is dedicated to promote environmental sustainability, encourage environmentally conscious thinking, and empower students to become advocates for positive environmental change.
Why?
EcoHawks exists to give students a voice and a platform to champion sustainability within the Laurier community. Through education, advocacy, and hands-on initiatives, EcoHawks empowers students to turn environmental awareness into meaningful action.

Goals
Our primary goal for the year in EcoHawks is to continue promoting environmental sustainability and inspiring environmentally conscious thinking throughout Laurier and the great community. We want to create a friendly and inclusive environment where people can develop friendships and feel open to contributing ideas.
Overall, our goal is to empower students and members to become advocates and be the change they want to see in the world.

To Achieve our Goals
We plan various events and initiatives to encourage participation and foster a sense of community. One of the events we hope to arrange is a sustainability fair where we can bring local businesses or organizations in to promote sustainability practices and products. Additionally, we plan to organize a social outing where we could go on an outdoor hike/walk or a volunteer cleanup throughout the community. And throughout the year, we plan to actively seek member input to bring more ideas and suggestions to implement, as we know the best ideas often come from diverse perspectives.
