About Your Students' Union

Who Are We?

In a word, we’re you. The Laurier Students’ Union is comprised of over 19,000 undergraduate students across Brantford and Waterloo. By choosing Laurier, you’re automatically a member of the Students’ Union, so if you’re new, welcome to the team. If you’re coming back to us, it’s good to see you again.

What We Do

Do you want to start an event, spark a movement, or change a nation? We’re going to give you the tools to do it.

The Students’ Union gives you the opportunity to take your university experience outside of the classroom. We head over 300 clubs and volunteer committees, work to represent your interests to the University as well as the Provincial and Federal Governments. The Union is a great way to get involved, either by joining a club, attending event, using a service like Food Bank or Foot patrol, or volunteering.

You can start small or dive right in, we’ll be here to help every step of the way. Check out our SU Story Video.

What We Accomplish (Together)

We are more than our volunteers and staff – it’s every student that makes the Laurier culture so special.

We are driven by students.
