Orientation Team
Orientation is one of the biggest and most exciting traditions at Laurier and we're looking for passionate student leaders to help bring it to life.
As a member of the Orientation Team, you'll play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience for incoming students. From supporting major events and mentoring volunteers to solving challenges on the fly and bringing positive energy to campus, you'll help shape the first chapter of thousands of Golden Hawks' university journeys.

What You'll Do
Lead by example and represent Laurier with enthusiasm.
Support the planning and delivery of Orientation events.
Mentor and assist Icebreaker volunteers.
Help coordinate event logistics, setup, and operations.
Welcome and support incoming students from all backgrounds.
Promote an inclusive, respectful, and positive environment.
Answer questions and connect students with helpful campus resources.
Collaborate with fellow volunteers to solve problems and keep events running smoothly.
Bring energy, school spirit, and encouragement to every event.

The Students’ Union hires over 1000 student volunteers to help us run our Programming, Services and various other departments throughout the school year.
