ABOUT US: The Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union is an independent not-for-profit organization formally affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University. We are governed by a Board of Directors, 12 elected undergraduate students, and managed by an elected President and CEO who serves a 1-year term. The President’s Executive Leadership Team, both current students and recent graduates, serve in their roles alongside a continuing staff team managed by our Executive Director.

The Students’ Union exists to represent, advocate for, and support all Laurier undergraduate students. ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director, Business Operations, the Front of House Manager is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of front of house and bar operations at Wilf's Restaurant & Bar and The Turret. This role oversees staff recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, beverage operations, and guest experience while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, legislation, and industry standards.

POSITION TITLE: Front of House Manager

POSITION LEVEL: Full-time, Continuing POSITION GRID: H5 

WAGE RATE: $52,000 to $63,206.33 per annum, commensurate to qualifications

REPORTS TO: Director, Business Operations

EDUCATION: Ontario Secondary School Diploma

LOCATION: Wilf's Restaurant & Bar and The Turret, Waterloo Campus
