ABOUT US: The Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union is an independent not-for-profit organization formally affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University. We are governed by a Board of Directors, 12 elected undergraduate students, and managed by an elected President and CEO who serves a 1-year term. The President’s Executive Leadership Team, both current students and recent graduates, serve in their roles alongside a continuing staff team managed by our Executive Director.
ROLE SUMMARY: The Students’ Union Hospitality Services Department oversees all hospitality operations of the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union on the Waterloo and Brantford campuses. Our operations consist of Wilf’s Restaurant & Bar and The Turret on the Waterloo campus, and Golden Grounds Coffee Pub and the Belmont on the Brantford campus. Along with the daily aspects of a restaurant and café operations, a variety of catering and special events are held within the establishments. Reporting to the Front of House Manager Waterloo, you will maintain a high level of customer service. To fulfill these duties, you must be extremely well organized, detail-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and excellent time management skills

POSITION TITLE: Kitchen Crew Member
LOCATION: Wilf's Restaurant & Bar, Waterloo
POSITION LEVEL: Part-time, seasonal contract
WAGE RATE: Starting at $17.95 per hour
REPORTS TO: Kitchen Manager, Waterloo
EDUCATION: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
TECHNICAL: Safe Food Handlers certification and experience within a kitchen necessary
