1. Purpose
1.1. This policy establishes the guidelines that limit guess access to certain Student’s Union events.
2. Definitions
2.1. Member: A student registered in an undergraduate program at Wilfrid Laurier University who has paid all applicable fees.
3. Jurisdiction/Scope
3.1. This policy applies to all Students’ Union programming, events, and facilities.
4. Policy
4.1. When in effect, the Students’ Union guest policy imposes limitations on the number of non-Wilfrid Laurier University student attendees at specified events.
4.1.1. Wilfrid Laurier University students will be required to present a valid OneCard in order to bring a guest(s).
4.1.2. Students’ Union events may be limited to members of the organization, with no guests permitted.
4.1.3. Students’ Union events may place a specific limitation on the number of guests that are permitted to accompany a member of the Students’ Union to a specified event.
4.1.4. Students’ Union events may limit guests to those individuals attending another post-secondary institution.
4.1.4.1. A valid student identification card will be required to confirm post-secondary attendance.
4.2. Any guest attending a 19+ Students’ Union event must present government-issued identification to verify their age.
