Brantford Transit Service Updates
Brantford Transit has implemented a number of service adjustments as of September 6, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and better align the transit network with community demand.
Students and community members should be aware of the following changes:
Increased afternoon service is now available on select routes.
Routes 4, 4A and 4C have been retired.
New Core Route B now provides direct north-to-south service between Eagle Place and Brantford Commons.
Routes 23, 24 and 25 have been introduced in Brantford’s north end, providing additional coverage and transit options.
Minor schedule adjustments have also been made to several existing routes.
We encourage students who rely on public transit to review the current routes and schedules through the City of Brantford’s Transit website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information when planning their travel.
A reminder for Laurier students
Wilfrid Laurier University students have access to an unlimited Brantford Transit pass through their OneCard during the academic terms that you are paying tuition. When boarding Brantford Transit, simply present your valid OneCard to access the service at no additional cost.
