ABOUT US: The Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union is an independent not-for-profit organization formally affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University. We are governed by a Board of Directors, 12 elected undergraduate students, and managed by an elected President and CEO who serves a 1-year term. The President’s Executive Leadership Team, both current students and recent graduates, serve in their roles alongside a continuing staff team managed by our Executive Director.

The Students’ Union exists to represent, advocate for, and support all Laurier undergraduate students. We work to ensure the student experience is affordable, accessible, safe, and that a high-quality academic experience is paired with opportunities for diverse and inclusive social interaction. ROLE SUMMARY: The Hospitality Front Line Crew Member will deliver exceptional guest service at Wilf’s Restaurant & Bar. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, assisting with menu selections, serving food and beverages, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. You will need to ensure compliance with safety and alcohol regulations while contributing to a positive dining experience. This part-time, seasonal role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

POSITION TITLE: Hospitality Front Line Crew Member

POSITION LEVEL: Part-time, contract (8 months - Sept 2025-April 2026)

WAGE RATE: $17.20 / hour – general minimum wage

REPORTS TO: Wilf’s Dining Room Manager

EDUCATION: Ontario Secondary School Diploma, currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution

LOCATION: Wilf’s Restaurant & Bar, Waterloo Campus

CLOSING DATE: Thursday July 17th, 2025 at 11:59am
