ABOUT US: The Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union is an independent not-for-profit organization formally affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University. We are governed by a Board of Directors, 12 elected undergraduate students, and managed by an elected President and CEO who serves a 1-year term. The President’s Executive Leadership Team, both current students and recent graduates, serve in their roles alongside a continuing staff team managed by our Executive Director.

The Students’ Union exists to represent, advocate for, and support all Laurier undergraduate students. ROLE SUMMARY: The Hospitality Catering Crew Member will support the setup, service, and takedown of catering events and special functions across Laurier campuses and other locations. Your duties include arranging furniture, preparing event spaces, serving food and beverages, clearing dishes, and ensuring a professional, welcoming environment. You will need to ensure compliance with safety and alcohol regulations This part-time role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks while working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

POSITION TITLE: Hospitality Catering Crew Member

POSITION LEVEL: Part-time, contract (8 months - Sept 2025-April 2026)

WAGE RATE: $17.20 / hour – general minimum wage

REPORTS TO: Guest Services Manager

EDUCATION: Ontario Secondary School Diploma, currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution

LOCATION: Wilf’s Restaurant & Bar, Waterloo Campus

CLOSING DATE: Thursday July 17th, 2025 at 11:59am
